Antispyware Soldier Won’t Defend Your PC

Antispyware Soldier sounds like the name of a program that would protect your computer from spyware, doesn’t it? While the name sounds convincing, this is a rogue security program that is actually an infection. This application advertises aggressively to the user, alerting them of security threats that supposedly exist on their PC. Through these ads, the hackers hope to convince the user that they need to run their scan to detect these threats, so that they may be removed.

The problem is that once the scan is run, fake results are displayed to the user. This is simply an effort to frighten you so that you purchase the full product, which is completely and utterly useless. Antispyware Soldier is not capable of scanning the computer to begin with, so it cannot detect or remove anything at all. All results are fabricated, and this application is actually an infection itself that should be removed immediately once you realize it is there.

How does this parasite get placed on your PC? The most common places to get these infections is by downloading other programs, visiting questionable websites that may not be secure, and spam email links. When you download music, games, freeware and other programs, these malicious applications may piggyback with them, even though you are unaware of it.

Some of the common signs that you have been infected are a slowing of your PC, browser redirection, non-stop pop-up ads and security alerts, and occasionally a changed home page. In some instances, your computer may become very unstable or even crash. Additional malware may be installed as well. Antispyware Soldier, like other rogue security programs, may collect information about what you do when you are online, and access private information such as passwords, credit card numbers and other business data. You can see why this is highly dangerous, and should be removed at once.

You may be tempted to try doing it yourself, but this is not recommended because of the risk of damaging your PC. All related files and values must be located so that they may be deleted, and associated running processes killed. If you are worried that this parasite may be installed on your computer, you should use a reliable antispyware application that guarantees 100% removal of all spyware, parasites and other security threats automatically.
